Busy Weekend

I had a very productive weekend!
#1, I finished this top for my granddaughter Mary. And this is the only picture I've got. On Monday I mailed the top to my Quilting Cousin to quilt. It's a Disappearing 9 Patch & I think, I should have done my math on this one. I had a bunch of 6" squares already cut, so I used them + some for the 9 patches. Well, the blocks ended up 16" finished & the top ended up measuring 74" x 90". Mary will be 2 in August & she's tiny, not even 20 lbs yet. Her parents will probably loose her in it. But she won't out grow it any time soon!

# 2, I finished making 60 Yo yo's for the LQS raffle quilt & delivered then Monday! Please NO more purple & pink for awhile!

And # 3, I finished a top from blocks made in 1995 & 96, that I'm giving to a friend that just found out she has cancer. She starts Chemo next week & the LQS that has a long arm promised me she would quilt in by Friday, so I can deliver in to Annie before her treatments start. Annie does not have a very good prognosis, so I want to get it to her ASAP. I'll add a picture of it this weekend.

Now I have 1 quick ? Have any of you had a top, quilted on a Long Arm using Polar Fleece as the back. I asked the LQS quilter & she wasn't sure if it would work. Thought it might be to stretchy. What do you think?

We've had snow & freezing temp's all weekend, a perfect weekend to hide & sew!!!!

I love the colours in your grand-daughter's quilt. I'm sure she'll really treasure it - and there's plenty of room for her to grow into it!
