I'm all done with my QFAH Project,,, well the top anyway!

I woke up to pretty blue skies, then the clouds turned dark gray, then the wind & rain started & finally thunder. Now it's blue sky again. This is April weather, not almost June! It could have been worse, 100 miles to the south of us, it's snowed on & off for the last week! And at least I won't have to water until this weekend.

I want to Thank Judy at Patchwork Times for hosting the Quilt for an Hour project. I spent most of yesterday & this morning catching up. I added an extra outside border because I wanted the color, plus I was as little short on the dark background fabric for the outside border. I think it turned out great. When it's finished it should be 60"x80". Sue R. asked about the color of my dark BG , it's a very pale yellowish color. But it sure doesn't pick up in the pictures! It shows up better in the picture of the fabric in this earlier post. Happy Sewing!

Your quilt is beautiful! This is the first time I have done something like this and it was a lot of fun.

Oh my goodness, your quilt is gorgeous! This is the first one I have seen finished from the QFAH. I wanted to join in, but I just don't have the time right now, not even an hour a day, to start another project.
Back to my OC.

Oooooo! I'm jealous! I'm stuck on the 7th installment. I am not a fan of attaching sashing and borders and must force myself to do this!! GOOD for YOU!
