I made this about 8 years ago from a pattern in "The Foundation Piecer" renamed "Quilts with Style" Magazine. It stopped publishing several years ago. I had holes when I took Christmas down that needed filled!
We lived in Iceland for a couple years and saw lots of these birds. Your little wallhanging really turned out great. I got the Foundation Piecer for a long time. They seemed to lose their pizzazz the last couple years, and the year I finally decided to cancel, they quit publishing. They still have an online site though.
