My favorite part of quilting is the cutting and piecing. Don't enjoy the quilting part, that is why I have so many ufo's! I live in the sunshine state of Florida ;-)

Congratulations on your 100th post! I love all aspects of quilting, but the primary one is that it is an outlet for my creativity and desire to sew; a bonus is all the friends I've made through quilting! (I don't know if you have any way to check, but I follow you through Google Reader.)

And I forgot to say, I live in the beautiful state of Minnesota.

My favorite part of quilting is trying to think of how the quilt will fit the recipients personality and style, since most of my quilts are gifts. I live in wonderful Minnesota on a lake. Congratulations on your 100th blog post. I'm a follower!

I'm from northern Maine. We haven't planted anything yet, but the weather is warming up some.

My absolute favorite part of quilting is hand sewing the binding down to the back of the quilt. Sitting there with a finished product on my lap; so proud of an accomplishment.

I have 7 grands so far, all under 5. I know how you feel!!!! Phew!

Congrats on the milemarker of 100 posts!

My favorite part is selecting the fabric and cutting it out. I have a love/hate relationship with my sewing machine, but the first creative part of the process is my favorite.

Well, I really love the whole process, but I must admit that shopping for fabric is always fun (especially with quilting friends). I live in Pennsylvania. Thanks for the chance.

Congrats on the 100th post. The best thing I like about quilting. Just being creative and see what might become. I say "lets play and see what happens" sometimes I like the outcome, sometimes I don't but it is always a learning experience. I live in Oregong.

I moved from Wisconsin to Arizona a year ago...love it though it is HOT in summer! I love piecing quilts and I enjoy binding them too. I also love reading everyone's blogs about what they are making!

I am a Pennsylvania quilter. I think piecing is my favorite part of quilting, but I also enjoy binding as well.

Congrats on 100 posts. I am a quilter from New York who loves every aspect of quilting, from picking the design and fabric through binding. Quilting is my sanity and my creative outlet and allows me to give a bit of myself to those I give my quilts to.

I just became a follower!

Congratulations on creating 100 posts. That is quite an accomplishment- I hope that you continue to enjoy blogging and sharing your love of quilting.

I love the process of choosing the colors and design and seeing them come together in a quilt. Sometimes I get bogged down in the actual mechanics of putting the quilt together but with a bit of effort I eventually get the quilt made.

I am a Canadian from Western Alberta. I am not sure if I am eligible or not, but I enjoy meeting quilters from different places- Its nice to meet you- Moon valley is a great name- my astronomer husband would love your blog name.
If you get a chance and would like to, I hope that you might come and visit my blog- you can find me at quiltmomsjourney.blogspot.com
Regards from Western Canada,
Anna

Hello- I'm a half back- which means I grew up in Ohio, moved to Florida for 20 years and and moved to Tennessee last fall- hence the term half back! I'm a relative newbie at this quilting biz but I'll say my favorite part is selecting the fabric to go with the design and the friends I'm meeting along the way. Congrats on number 100 and here's to another 100!

Oh I would love to be entered into your give away!

My favorite part of quilting.. gosh it is hard to narrow down to one thing, so can I list a few of my favorite things (great gonna have that stuck in my head all day!) Mostly I is an outlet for my creativity, I need that artistic outlet or I go nuts! It has also been a wonderful way for my 15 year old daughter and I to bond, she also love to quilt. My other favorite part, I have a wonderful sense of community. I work from home so quilting give me a chance to spend time with other adults!

Oh and I usually live in a state of denial! Ok actually I live in Washington state.

My favorite part of quilting is the quilting itself. I love to do hand quilting, though I have been doing more machine quilting of late. Someone convinced me that I could make a few hand quilted quilts in my lifetime or many more machine quilted.

I do hand quilting for my family. To me, those stitches are a labor of my love.

My second favorite part is the binding, I always finish it by hand.

I live in Ohio and I'm becoming a follower as soon as I publish this post.

And, my favorite aspect of quilting?! That would probably be tied between piecing or hand sewing the binding to the back. Hmmmm...good question!
And congrats on 100 posts!!
