2 More Quilts Finished!

All these 2 quilts needed to officially be finished was labels! So Tuesday was designated label day. On the kids quilts I have been embroidering them right on the quilt. They are fast, easy & permanent.

This is my G-son Damon's quilt. I named it "Wild Thing", I thought it was fitting for a 16 year old.

This Irish Chain was one of my Mom's UFO's. This one is going to my oldest niece Etta. This is a hard quilt to take pictures of as it has a lot of gold metallic in the leaf print & the solid red & purple want to glow!

My last 2 goals for May are to put the binding on another of Mom's UFO's & finish a journal cover for my Son in Law. Guess I better get off the computer & get busy!!!

Teresa,
What a lovely pair of quilts- What is the pattern of your son's quilt? It looks like either a Weaver fever pattern or a bargello pattern?
Both of them are gorgeous.
Regards from a Western Canadian Quilter,
Anna

Way to go, Teresa. I've had that Weaver Fever booklet for years but never got around to making one. Great choice of fabrics for a guy. The Irish Chain is really pretty too.

I love the fact that you are doing something with your mother's UFO's and I like the label that you are putting in all of them. I have a bunch of embroidery and crocheted doily type things from my mother, and my DH's grandmother that I'm planning on doing something with one of these days. I already found a cross stitch that my grandmother had done back in the 30's and had framed.
